Stroke affects everyone, including a young and well loved MD, Dr Robin Dickinson. Here is her short bio: "Robin Dickinson is a family physician and the mother of two young children. She had a vertebral artery dissection and cerebellar strokes at the age of 31. During her recovery, she continued to practice medicine and also became very active advocating for access to medical care and food. She has been vocal about her experiences recovering from her strokes and living with an invisible disability in the hopes it will help other survivors live life to their fullest."
In this group, we have a unique opportunity to share with Dr Dickinson our experience with stroke, and hear about her very unique stories of recovery.
